| pygame snow |
[Mar. 14th, 2007|10:00 am] |
I have recently been turned onto an API for python called pygame and thought I'd give it a whirl. I modified an example starfield generator that came with the pygame package, and made this nifty snow simulator.
Here are some screen shots with what I have so far:

I'll share the source code once I feel it is finished. |

| Hooray for power outages! |
[Oct. 4th, 2005|04:55 pm] |
The power went out at work around 4pm and my manager sent us all home early!
Now I'm playing some Final Fantasy II on my Game Boy Micro, which I forgot to mention, was a whole $31 off at Futureshop, Best Buy and Walmart this week. I brought in my recipt on Saturday, and put the money towards Sigma Star Saga, which is a pretty cool game even if it didn't get the highest of ratings. |

| Serenity |
[Oct. 3rd, 2005|10:06 am] |
I just squeaked in under the wire and got to see Serenity this weekend, Sunday night.
I liked it quite a bit, but I think the movie just emphasises how much I miss this series on television.
It was better than Sith in any case. |

Today I was pompous and my sister was crazy.
Today I was kidnapped by hillfolk never to be seen again. It was the best day ever. |

| Jeff's Bachelor Party |
[Sep. 25th, 2005|01:00 pm] |
Yesterday was my friend Jeff's bachelor party. We played paint ball out by Cochrane Alberta, and went for a very nice dinner and some bar hopping on 17th Ave. It was a lot of fun.
Consequently I don't have a lot of energy today. I think I'll just veg today and play Final Fantasy II for the first time ever (I've owned it since Christmas 2004). I wonder if this means my current Morrowind character will never see an end game scenario. Too many games, never enough time. |
